Micronized Linseed Plus is fortified with natural source Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and Calcium, and is high in omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids which support a healthy skin and shiny coat. High in calories and oil, it is a suitable addition to the feed for horses of all ages and disciplines. It is especially useful for older horses or for those in work or needing more condition.

Thunderbrook Micronized Linseed Plus has a unique, ready balanced formula. With additional vitamin E to support fatty acid utilisation, B vitamins to support red blood cell formation, and a ready balanced calcium to phosphorus ratio. Full fat linseed is an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids, an essential part of your horse's diet. However, fatty acids are naturally prone to oxidisation, and the resulting by-products can be harmful to cellular metabolism. Hence we include natural source vitamin E in our Micronized Linseed as a natural antioxidant. Vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid play an important role in the formation of red blood cells. Insufficient red blood cells results in anaemia, lethargy and lack of energy. Linseed naturally contains a substance called linatine, which has been shown to cause vitamin B6 deficiency in poultry and pigs when fed at high levels. We include pyridoxine (vitamin B6) in our micronized linseed to counteract any potential effects of linatine when fed at high levels. Linseed naturally contains a higher ratio of phosphorus to calcium. We include calcium in our linseed to rebalance this ratio so that it is more suitable for a horse's diet.
