The fabric has been treated with Silverplus ? which is not only safe and pet friendly, but is also shown to have no negative effects to the environment. The anti-microbial effects contribute to stopping odour causing bacteria and will last the life of the textile, prolonging product life span. The treatment has outstanding resistance to machine washing, with 99.9% reduction in bacteria even after 100 wash cycles and it only needs to be washed at a low temperature, reducing energy consumption too! Filled with a soft and fluffy polyester fibre filling which provides a lot of warmth and comfort. Made from a blend of standard and recycled PET flake, made from recycled plastic bottles which are cleansed, shredded and heated to form fibres. The filling is fire retardant to British Standard BS5852.
