Ashurst Horse Worm Egg Count Test

Test based parasite control allows us to target the wormers we give our horses, treating only those that need it in the herd. This minimises the exposure to the worming chemicals and dramatically slows down the worrying levels of resistance that are developing to all our licenced products.

Worming this way is better for our horses, the environment (all wormers are eco-toxic) and test based programmes often work out more cost effective than outdated blanket chemical plans. 

This test detects redworm and/or roundworm the most common horse parasites.

NOT tapeworm, pinworm or encysted redworm.
